Married At First Sight made its triumphant return to our screens last night but will it all end happily ever after for the couples?
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au is taking bets on the likelihood of the pairings going the distance and it’s a tale of two cities for the Brisbane and Sydney couples.
Brissy pair Nicole and Keller got off to a slow start but the chemistry was evident when the pair finally made it into their honeymoon suite and Sportsbet reckon they’re a good $1.50 chance to still be together when the series ends.
The outlook is not so positive for Sydneysiders Mark & Monica though, with odds of $1.35 they’ll go their separate ways and a $3.00 chance on offer that they’ll find that spark.
Of the five couples featured in the series, Sportsbet is tipping at least three of the couples to still be an item when the show wraps at odds of $3.00.
“Judging from the odds it’ll take a miracle for Mark and Monica to last but Nicole and Keller actually blossomed into a real romance and their future looks a lot more optimistic,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
