An overwhelming majority of punters believe 29-year-old Victorian Johnny Rollins is set to be crowned the winner of Channel Nine’s hit show ‘The Voice’ tomorrow night.
Online bookie Sportingbet.com.au can report that 60% of the money wagered with it since the field was reduced to five contenders last Monday has been for Rollins, who is now a clear-cut $2.05 favourite.
“Our punters are singing from the same song sheet and declaring Johnny as the winner,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.
“Plenty of talent spotters backed Rollins at odds of $15 weeks ago and he’s continued to impress with some spectacular performances ever since.”
Anja Nissen has been the best backed to beat Rollins and is a $3.50 second favourite in front of Jackson Thomas ($6).
ZK ($7) and Frank Lakoudis ($8) are considered the outsiders.
