Mick Price’s best this weekend is an improving young horse off his maiden win.
Our best chance this weekend is BOBCAT who is a good young horse on the improve.
He was left in front too far out at Geelong last start and still did a good job to win his maiden.
He has worked well since and is a nice horse who just needs a good ride from a bad draw and I’m confident that Damien Oliver can give him just that.
I rate him a nice each-way chance in the race.
There are two runners in the 1400 metre race, HIRAD and GENERAL OFFER.
It’s hard to have confidence in General Offer and I think he is a bit weak to the line. This is a better race for Hirad, but if he can’t lead by himself then he probably can’t win.
There might be a bit more pressure that Hirad will want up front, so we’ll stick with Bobcat at the best one for punters this weekend.
