POLITICIANS TURN TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT AFTER CHOPPER BAN

Now that our politicians aren’t allowed to charter a chopper to work, they’ll get a much better first-hand look at the state of our public transport system, and online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has come up with some novelty markets on who’ll be seen at the bus stop first.

A self-confessed man of the people, Bob Katter is the $5.00 favourite to be the first to pull out the Manuka to Parliament House timetable just ahead of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull at $6.00.

Buses have motors so Ricky Muir might be a bit of value at $26 although there might not be many takers for Bronwyn Bishop to be sitting at a bus stop any time soon – she’s the outsider in the field at $34.

“No helicopters for our politicians? It’s an outrage! Next they’ll be banning Comcars and we’ll see Jacqui Lambie turning up on a donkey,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
