Punters with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au have some interesting views surrounding the next Federal Election.
Both party leaders are not the punters pick to lead their parties and neither party has had significant backing ahead of the other to win it!
Bill Shorten ($1.52) has attracted under 30% of punter support with Tanya Plibersek ($5.00) receiving 46% and Anthony Albanese ($4.00) 13%.
Tony Abbott ($1.40) currently sits with 39% of wagers but Malcolm Turnbull ($4.50) is tracking with 45% of punter support.
So far both parties are on a very even playing field, the Coalition ($1.52) holding 48% of wagers to Labor’s ($2.40) 52%.
“It’s fascinating to see the punters really disagree with our odds for the leaderships and are quite split on who will actually win the Election,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
