We’ve said it before but Anthony Mundine’s career will be on the line when he fights unbeaten Belarusian Sergey Rabchenko on Wednesday night, and online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au doesn’t like the Aussie’s chances, pricing the Man as a $4.00 outsider.
Trained by legendary Englishman Ricky Hatton, Rabchenko’s career record stands at 25-0 and he’s $1.24 to put Mundine into retirement and set up a potential shot at Floyd Mayweather.
Rabchenko on points is the favoured method of victory at $1.94, or $2.90 to knock out the controversial Aussie.
Mundine is $6.00 should it go to the judges, and $11.50 to finish off his opponent inside the 12 rounds.
“This looks like being the end to Mundine’s decorated 15 year career in the ring. We’re not declaring Rabchenko a certainty, but ten times the money has gone on the Belarusian in comparison to the Aussie,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
