Sportsbet opens betting on season two of Stranger Things. Punters can bet on the first character to meet their maker.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller tipped to be the first song played.

Netflix has followed up House of Cards and Orange is the New Black with another online original streaming gem in 80s inspired Stranger Things.

The nostalgic eight part series has become the breakout hit of 2016 and even bets are being taken on what will unfold in season two.

Online bookmaker has opened betting on which character will be the first to die with Will Byers the $4.00 favourite ahead of the dark Doctor Brenner on $4.50.

Eleven, who has had more nose bleeds than she has said full sentences, is priced at $6.00 while the Winona Ryder played Joyce Byers is considered the $51 outsider.

Nancy, who is caught up in a love triangle with Steve and Jonathan, is tipped to end up with the geek at the end of season two – Jonathon paying $1.62 and Steve offered at $2.20.

We can expect plenty of 80s musical gold too, Michael Jackson’s eerie Thriller priced as the $7.00 favourite to be the first classic from 84’ to be played.

“We have been known to bet on strange things and you just know someone is going to get eaten by those monsters so betting is sure to be as popular as the show is on who’s first,’’ said’s Will Byrne.
